Boulder, Co.-based String Cheese Incident doesnΓÇÖt play by the industryΓÇÖs rules. The group unveiled its self-described ΓÇ£sacrilegious mix of bluegrass, calypso, salsa, Afro-pop, funk, rock, and jazz" at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival shortly after forming in 1993. Thanks to an aggressive touring schedule, the band soon attracted a loyal following throughout the western U.S. and formed its own label, Sci Fidelity Records. The debut disc Born On The Wrong Planet arrived in 1997, followed by the release of A String Cheese Incident Live. Another CD, 'Round the Wheel, appeared in 1998, and the latest live disc, Carnival 1999, came next. In this live performance of ΓÇ£Indian Creek,ΓÇ¥ the group uses the following equipment: Eden Electronics DC210xt Bass Amplifier, Hubbub Percussion Congas, and a Pignose amplifier.
